1. latimes: The Internet likes cats? To no one’s surprise, a cat token has won the online poll deciding the next Monopoly piece. Thirty-one percent of voters chose the cat over the likes of a helicopter, guitar and a pretty awesome-looking robot. The cat will replace the unloved iron, which will be removed from standard Monopoly sets for the first time since the 1930s, and will not be collecting $200.
